QIF介紹

The official name of QIF is ISO 23952: 2020 Automation Systems and Integration – Quality Information Framework (QIF) – An Integrated Model for Manufacturing Quality Information; this standard was originally initiated by the US NIST, a quality standard developed by DMSC and audited by ANSI. , officially became the new ISO standard in July this year (2020). QIF is based on Model Based Definition (MBD) and XML architecture to establish a set of quality information framework for product production stages that connects design, manufacturing, measurement and quality management. Based on the principles of MBD, the definition of all information models is based on the definition of product design CAD models to define and track subsequent workflows; through the XML language, which is widely supported by various computer systems, obstacles in the transmission process of information models are eliminated. , to ensure that the MBD quality process can be completed smoothly. Simply put, the QIF MBD process not only ensures that product definition information is smoothly transmitted to each station in the product production process, but is also responsible for integrating and transmitting information from each station back to the units in need, which will be of great help to management and quality improvement.
Modern quality manufacturing operations consist of complex networked physical systems that require the continuous collection and use of digital manufacturing data. Often, multiple players throughout the supply chain use one or more proprietary software products, resulting in significant communication breakdowns between supply chain partners. Data related to each partner must be intelligently organized and communicated. Quality Information Framework (QIF): An XML-based, CAD-agnostic platform and standard. QIF seamlessly defines, organizes and correlates quality information including: measurement plans, results, part geometry and product manufacturing information (PMI), measurement templates, resources, statistical analysis and more.

QIF (Quality Information Framework) is a framework that focuses on improving information quality. It can help enterprises in many aspects, including:

  1. Improve decision-making quality: QIF can help companies ensure that the information they use is of high quality, thereby improving the accuracy and effectiveness of decision-making. When businesses can rely on high-quality information for decision-making, they are more likely to make informed choices, thereby increasing their competitive advantage.

  2. Reduce risk: Using QIF can help businesses reduce the risk caused by inaccurate or incomplete information. By ensuring the accuracy, completeness and reliability of information, businesses can better manage risks, thereby protecting their interests and reputation.

  3. Improve efficiency: QIF can help enterprises optimize information management processes, thereby improving work efficiency. By standardizing information quality assessment and improvement processes, businesses can access the information they need faster, reduce duplication of effort and increase productivity.

  4. Enhanced customer satisfaction: Providing high-quality information can help companies better understand customer needs and thus provide better products and services. This improves customer satisfaction, increases customer loyalty, and promotes business growth.
